Founded in 1979 the Eden Dance Centre is one of the major classical ballet schools in the Cambridge area.

It is based in a fully equipped dance studio at Chesterton Sports Centre just North of the city centre.

It offers over 20 classes per week to around 200 students of all ages from 3 years old to senior citizens.

Performance technique and examination results are of the highest standard.

But the objectives of the Centre are not purely academic. All children are encouraged to get satisfaction from the hard work and artistic expression which lead to the development of character and confidence.

Our aim is to provide enjoyable and stimulating classes for everyone.

The adult classes welcome all levels of ability and experience. We provide an interesting and challenging way of exercising and for those who learned ballet earlier in their lives an opportunity to return to the pleasure without too much pressure.

The Eden Centre theatre performances have become renowned for their originality, colour and spectacle as well as a high technical & artistic standard.
